My niece made this pie recipe at Super Saturdays. I actually got to try a taste of this pie and it was very good.

My husband and son made this from a large (jack-o-lantern type) pumpkin we were given. The only change they made was to use 1/4 cup white sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar. The pie tastes good. The crust edges burnt. I forgot to let them know to put foil over the when the edge when it is nicely browned.

  1. Preheat oven to 450.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Use a whisk to stir in the pumpkin and blend well. Whisk in milk, both sugars and spice mix.
  3. Lightly grease one pie plate. Put crust in plate. Pour filling and bake for 10 minutes at 450. Lower heat to 400 and bake 40-45 minutes until a knife comes out clean.
