This didn't do much for my husband or myself, I'm sorry to say. I ate a couple fritters, he took one bite and left it. They were very pretty and easy to make, but I doubt I'll try them again.

I changed this to U.S. rather than metric. So some changes were made. I used 1 can of pumpkin (15 oz), 1/3 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, and 1/4 tsp salt. Omitted the lemon slices, and did sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Honestly though, my DS's didn't like this, but that didn't come as a surprise seeing that they don't care for pumpkin pie. My DH and I thought this was delicious. I served this with South African Chutney Chicken and South African Yellow Rice

I may be prejudice because I love pumpkin so much, but these were very good. I accidentally burned them a bit on the stove, so I threw them in the oven for a while. They're delicious! I might drizzle maple syrup on them next time!
