Loved it!! The texture was great, spot on! It had a beautiful pumpkin pie flavor mixed in with a traditional creme brulee goodness! I cooked it for 45 minutes. Next time I will cook just a touch longer. Around 48-50 minutes.

Great pumpkin flavor. I was expecting the same smooth, rich texture of a typical creme brulee but didn't find it here. The pumpkin puree lent its own roughness to the custard.

I have made this twice now for friends and will be making it again on Thanksgiving. It is an amazing recipe! I like this so much better than pumpkin pie, and it is just the smallest amount of heady sweetness to finish off a large savoury meal. The spices are just right for this dish. Do be sure not to overbake--I did that the first time I made this and it was so much better the second time! Thanks for posting, Petitfour!
