This was a really good cookie. After reading the last review I was actually expecting a cake like cookie, but it wasnt that at all, which is fine. My door is open to all kinds of cookies. ;) I followed it to a T, and was a little suprised because I am a pumpkin feind, but couldnt taste the pumpkin in it, but, of course, my hubby totally could! LOL No matter, we LOVED the cookie, and I will be making these again.

Just like Moms. I've been eating these since I was a kid.

This recipe was easy to make, I substituted Succanat for the sugar so the came out darker. I expected more of a cookie texture, these are cakelike. They are alright but I was looking forward to a nice crisp chocalate chip cookie. I'm not sure if the succanat caused this or if this is how they are supposed to be.

Very good! I was looking for a recipe to use my left over pumpkin. I added ginger, ground cloves, and walnuts. Yum!

I think there were a few problems with this recipe, namely the large amount of baking powder and soda--the cookies came out tasting of the rising ingredients unfortunately. Also, I didn't really feel the pumpkin came through well, and the cookies were too fluffy, kind of like muffin tops. Perhaps tweaked a bit this recipe would work better.

Great Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookie recipe! I've been making these for several years with a recipe I found in the newspaper...but it only uses a small (14.5oz) can of pumpkin. I was a little worried about the large (29oz) can, but the added pumpkin flavor made these even more of a family favorite. My kids took extras to school and shared with friends at lunch - and their friends LOVE these cookies (not bad for high school and middle school kids!) My additions: 1 tsp Ground Ginger and 1/2 tsp Ground Cloves. Thanks, Anna P!

This recipe is way better than the one I've had for 15 years. The cookies are delicious, light and fluffy. The hint of pumpkin is delightful for a great fall treat. They will be a best seller at our Animal Shelter Bake Sale tomorrow. The recipe made 13 dozen good size cookies! ccp

Yum! I was a little concerned about how the cookie would bake up because of the addition of oil and not butter but no need to be concerned. This cookie was moist and delicious. The only thing I might do next time is add a bit more spice but that is probably because of my own personal preferences.

We loved these. I used homemade applesauce for half of the oil. Very moist and tasty. I also used mini chocolate chips instead of the regular ones. My daughter and I had a wonderful afternoon baking these and delivering plates of delicious cookies to neighbors.

Excellent recipe. I always make these but I like to try different recipes. Warning though, that this makes a lot of cookies so be prepared (not like it's a bad thing..lol)

I hate pumpkin and was forced to try one when a co-worker brought them in. They are the most delicious things I have ever had in my entire life; I found this recipe at work and made some as soon as I got home. The pumpkin flavor is very subtle and makes them incredibly moist. I never knew that such an amazing cookie ever existed. I make them all the time now. Also, they freeze really well, so I make them in bulk. Even better, they aren't that bad for you! Overall, the best cookie in the world.

This makes a lot of cookies but they are very good, used chocolate-butterscotch chips. Thanks for the great recipe.

Great cookie! DH and I made these for a concert at our church and they were a big hit. They were very moist. We will be making these again only next time I will try lightening them up and making them a little more healthy for us. Thanks for sharing.

These are quite tasty!! Made them to take to our park yesterday while we set up for our town festival. Fed a very diverse group of people and the only one who DIDN'T care for them was my own DH!!! Oh, well, go figure! The rest of the group thought they were awesome and begged for more!! Thanks for sharing!

I've made this recipe many times now and I have to say that my children ask for this cookie so often. It has become a favorite in my household! If you like pumpkin, these are a treat. I thought these were a tasty cookie. I prefer to give my kids a cookie with some sort of nutrition added to it if possible, and these fit the bill. They were easy to make - my young children actually did this themselves, with my supervision. And we left out the chocolate chips, just to keep sugar down. I'm always glad to have a treat for the kids that isn't a total nutritious wash. Thank you for sharing. —
