Laurie I made a mistake and baked the bread at 375 degree oven instead of 350. My bread did get a bit darker around the edges and the middle did not bake thru. I will definitely be making the bread again at a later date. The bread has a wonderful flavor, almost a spice cake or fruit cake type flavor. It is a heavier textured bread but also moist and delicious. This would be a wonderful dessert with a bit of flavored whipped cream or on a cold brisk morning with a hot cup of coffee. Thank you for posting this recipe!
