I found this recipe in Bay Leaves Cookbook. The original recipe didn't call for raisins.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease loaf pan and set aside.
  3. Combine all ingredients.
  4. Place in loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 1& 1/2 hours.
  6. Cover with foil during last 30 minutes of baking.
  7. Cool and Enjoy.

this makes a very nice pumpkin loaf. the only thing i would do different is reduce the sugar down to 1 cup, i found it a bit too sweet. Also, it only took about 70 minutes to bake for me. thanks for posting :)
