      These make a great snack. Like PaulaG, I noticed a significant baking powder taste. The next time I made them I used only 1 tablespoon of baking powder and doubled the sugar. It took longer to bake, but I liked the flavor better.

      These biscuits bake up tall and proud. I got a strong taste of baking powder but DH couldn't taste it so it may have been my taste buds. I added up all the spices and used an equivalent of Baking Spice Blend Mix. They were cut with pumpkin and maple leaf cutters.
