I love pumpkin and raisins, so I put them together to make a tasty bar.

This was very good. I used golden raisins because I already had them on hand, and it went nicely with the color from the pumpkin as well. I also added a little nutmeg. For the frosting, I used butter. Everything came together quite quickly and the cake was nice and moist. DH said it didn't even need frosting, but what is cake without frosting? We really enjoyed these as a nice change from the usual pies of the season. Made for Bargain Basement Tag - Thanks! :)

  2. Mix all ingredients together well.
  3. Pour in a greased sheet cake pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, cool.
  5. Frosting:.
  6. Mix all the frosting ingredients together; put on cooled bars and refrigerate.
