Pull Apart Dinner Bread

"This recipe initially came with the name Monkey Bread. We had it over Christmas, and it is great bread! Very easy to make and really good."

  • Mix two cups really warm water, sugar, salt and yeast and let stand until bubbly.
  • Add beaten eggs and 3 cups flour, and stir. DO NOT BEAT.
  • Add vegetable oil and 3 more cups flour. It will be sticky.
  • Cover and let rise until double.
  • Roll out on surface.
  • Cut in circles with biscuit cutter (jar lid or glass).
  • Melt margarine in bundt or angel food cake pan. Put circles standing up like a pinwheel.
  • Let rise to top of pan.
  • Bake 350 for 30-40 minute.
  • Turn upside down on plate.
