Puff Pastry Cheese Straws

- 1 (17 1/4 ounce) box frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne
- 2 ounces asiago cheese, grated
- 2 ounces parmesan cheese, grated
directions
- Thaw puff pastry in fridge overnight or at room temp on paper towels.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line 15.5" x 10.5" jelly roll pans with parchment paper.
- On lightly floured surface, roll each sheet to 12" x 15".
- Sprinkle salt and cayenne, then cheeses onto one sheet.
- Top with second sheet and roll to 13"x 16".
- Cut into 32 1/2" x 13" strips.
- Place in pans, 1" apart. Twist each strip several times.
- Bake 18-20 minutes.
- Cool.
