Puff Corn Caramel Balls

Nice variation of a popcorn ball that is great for kids because there are no hulls or seeds.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 20 caramels
  • 34 cup butter
  • 13 cup vegetable oil
  • 12 ounces marshmallows
  • 12 cups corn puffs

Directions

  1. Over medium heat, melt the caramels, add butter and oil, mix.
  2. Add the marshmellows.
  3. When everything is melted, pour over the puff corn (found in potato chip isle).
  4. Form into balls and wrap in plastic wrap.
  5. Most of the time, I melt the mixture in the microwave, instead of using stove top. Can also put in a 13 x 9 cake pan, instead of making individual balls.

I Love these, they are not hard like some popcorn balls and I especially love that they don't have hulls. Much easier on your teeth and easier for kids to eat. The puff corn was a great idea! dana
