      Wonderful! I made it in my bread machine on the dough cycle and finished it in the oven, added 3 cups of flour then had to add about 1/4 cup of water .. this is one of the best bread recipes I have ever made! Thank you!!

      I would love to give this recipe 10 stars - this was absolutely excellent. A standout recipe. Very clear instructions and a wonderfully rich tasting, tender bread. This rounded out my menu of Evelyn in Athens' Greek Spaghetti Sauce and Greek Salad.

      This makes two large loaves and is a lovely crusty rustic type loaf. A worthy addition to my Christmas dinner table :-D.
