  1. cut prunes from pits(see,old lol) into little pieces
  2. add remaining filling ingredients.
  3. and cook.
  4. ,stirring until sugar is dissolved and mixture is thick
  5. dough
  6. cream sugar and butter
  7. add egg.
  8. blend in rind and juice
  9. sift dry ingredients
  10. add to creamed mixture
  11. make a stiff dough.
  12. chill overnight.
  13. roll about 1/8 inch thick.
  14. and cut into 3 1/2 circles.
  15. place a teaspoon of filling in center and fold dough over on each side towards center to cover filling
  16. fold ends to make rectangles about 1/8 inch on each side so there is a border.
  17. place folded side down on ungreased baking sheets and bake375 for 12 minutes until edges are browned
  18. remove to wire rack to cool.
