  • Mix together first 6 ingredients.
  • Set aside.
  • Mix sugar, oil, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.
  • Stir dry mixture into the wet mixture.
  • Fold in nuts and prunes.
  • Grease a tube pan and line with parchment paper.
  • Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Cool for 15 minutes and remove from pan.
  • Mix glaze ingredients together and cook over medium heat.
  • Stir constantly until glaze turns a caramel color.
  • Pour over cake.
