This is a great way to have your coffee and protein at the same time! For an extra boost of fun, try your favorite, flavored fat free yogurt. Serve hot or cold, either way you'll love the results!
- 1 cup brewed coffee (hot or cold)
- 1 scoop whey protein
- 1 (6 ounce) container plain fat-free yogurt (refrigerated or frozen)
- Blend all ingredients with blender and serve.
I like the idea of a protein shake with coffee! I used hot coffee and the end result was lukewarm with a bitter taste. I'd try it again with chilled coffee and something to sweeten it up.
This was just o.k. for me and mostly because I used the plain yogurt. I should have taken your suggestion for using flavored yogurt. I added 1 packet of MochaFlavored Splenda but it still wasn't just right. A somewhat bitter taste that I"m sure came from the yogurt. I used double chocolate flavored whey protein powder~ Sorry I can't give it more stars.
