These were very good and attractive, too. Nice appetizer for guests. I would have preferred garlic powder because the garlic didn't actually stick to the shrimp. I broiled 3 minutes per side and they were perfectly cooked. DH wanted them a little spicier, os will add more hot sauce and a little cayenne next time.
Made these Xmas Eve for an appetizer, and they were wonderful! Made exactly as directed, except used olive oil. Thanks for sharing!!
Well I only made 8 so they looked very lonely on the plates so I added a little fun character,, Wonderful recipe I used Montreal smoked beef instead of the proscuitto Made on the Griddler - only took 3 minutes - perfect. I mixed the garlic and used a no oil spray instad of the oil, added a bit of the garlic to each prawn before I wrapped on the meat Wonderful recipe Mmmm
These were very very good...and so simple....I was lazy and just broiled them....
I have made this many times now. Me and my husband really love this! Thanks!
I made these little gems for Superbowl Sunday. I marinated them for 4 hours and added a few extra shakes of hot sauce per BeachGirls review. They were delicious, AND impressive. One word of advice-- do not listen to anyone who says "they can't be done yet, put em back in a few more minutes". They ARE perfectly done after 3 mins. one each side (I used the broiler). Take em out and enjoy. :)Thank you Derf for an elegant appetizer, and for teaching me to "use my broiler!"
Such a simple and flavorful appetizer. I marinated these for a little over an hour and liked the subtleness of the garlic with the salty, smoky prosciutto. The pepper sauce adds just a slight kick, as well. They cooked up well on the grill and made a perfect snack for on the patio with a drink.
