Fantastic recipe!! I just tryed it this morning and thought it was amazing! I didnt have sandwich buns, but I did have som eleft over Hawaiin Sweet Bread rolls left, and it add SUCH a flavor! The sweetness of the bread brought the saltyness of the prosciutto. It complimented each other greatly! Try it!

Yum, yum, yum! This was a wonderful breakfast that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our only suggestion would be to have a bit more moisture on the inside -- maybe a little margarine on the bread first or a little tomato would work. We will definitely be making these again! Thanks for posting. Made for ZWT4.

This is one of those recipes where * the whole is much greater than the sum of the parts * The ingredients are literally Real Simple but the taste is outstanding-the salt of the prosciutto makes this one of the best ham and cheese sandwiches you'll ever have! I used one whole egg plus one egg white and it was perfect for one panini. I made an omelette so pieces wouldn't fall out of the sandwich and used reduced-fat baby swiss. YUM! Made for the Zaar World Tour Italy Panini Challenge.

What a great breakfast! Wonderful combo with the fluffy eggs, creamy cheese and salty proscuitto. I added some fresh basil and some tomatoes for more flavor. Made for ZWT4 Panini Challenge using the Panini pan I didn't know I had!

ZWT4: I made this using a heavy skillet - it turned out good! I love the saltiness of the meat in this!

Made this as is using a brick. :D It's so delicious and easy to assemble. The eggs cooked in butter's tasty and seems to be alot but I love it, so who I am to complain especially when combined with the prosciutto and meltedcheese. Thanks once again for a great recipe, cookiedog!

Delicious. I also made this for one and found that 2 eggs was rather a lot of filling for one sandwich. Other than that, what's not to like?

I made this for one person, and it was great. I followed the recipe according to directions and it came out great. Divided down it comes out to two eggs for one sandwich and it was a little much, but probably one egg wouldn't have been enough. I did use a soft Italian sandwich roll for this recipe and my electric panini maker protested a lttle, but in the end it was great. Quick, good flavor. Reviewed for ZWT 2008.

I halved this breakfast sandwich recipe yesterday, added sliced tomato & gave it a new look out of necessity. I do not have a panini maker, so assembled my version as quesadillas. Yum! I thot avocado would be another good add, but did not have any & will save that idea for next time. Thx for sharing this recipe w/us, cookiedog.
