We went a little smoothie crazy this summer. It was fun coming up with all sorts of different ideas and names.
- 2 bananas, large and ripe
- 2 cups strawberries
- 1 mango, ripe and cubed
- 2 cups cranberry juice
- 1⁄2 cup pineapple
- 12 ice cubes
- Combine all ingredients in blender or food processor container.
- Cover; blend until thick and smooth.
- Serve immediately.
So nice and creamy and smooth. It goes down well with the scones I just made. I find the flavours go well together, and it was very mellow.
I thought this was a pretty good smoothie. The flavor combination goes well together, but banana is definitely the dominant flavor. When I make this again I will probably reduce the amount of bananas I put in. Since it is November, I had to use frozen strawberries. I would love to try this with fresh, as I imagine they would taste a lot better than the frozen. Thanks for the recipe! Made for My 3 Chefs, 2009.
