These are good little cookies! It was my first time using my cookie press and I decided to use this recipe to make cookies for the office. I doubled the recipe, added a teaspoon of vanilla extract and only had to bake them for 6 minutes or else the bottoms would burn. I also made the dough a day in advance and kept it in the fridge and it was still easy to handle since the dough is so soft. After they cooled a little, I dipped them halfway in chocolate and it made them even better! Thanks for sharing your recipe!

This was a lovely mild, delicate cookie. My only change was to substitute margarine for the shortening. They were very easy to make and went quickly. One thing I love about the pressed cookie, they are so simple, but still so pretty. Thank you very much for sharing this recipe.

Very easy. Have a good taste. I microwaved a large milk chocolate hershey bar (broken into small pieces) for 45 seconds in a qt size zip bag. I snipped one corner of the bag and drizzled chocolate over the cooled cookies. They were a big hit! Chef #656673 Betsy

These are fantastic cookies for a first timer. My DS had bought me a cookie press last year and I have never used it to make cookies until today. This recipe is very easy to put together and made quick work out of making 4 dozen cookies. I made this for the 2007 Cookie Swap.
