I added more pasta as there was quite a bit of cheese but instead of adding the mustard, I added some pesto approx. one and a half table spoons which really gave it that extra bit of flavour which was needed as it was a little bland. What is also nice and kind of finishes it off is to add sliced tomatoe onto the top and then sprinkle on remaining cheese with some herb and garlic flakes and walla a delicious meal is had by all!!On the whole though it is one of those very easy dishes to make after a tiring day and you don't want to have to stand over the stove.

It cracks me up that this recipe was posted! I found this recipe about 15 years ago or so and have been making it ever since. I do add a bit more cheese. This is a wonderful recipe. Thanks for sharing it!

This recipe was great!! Just like my grandmother used to make....and though some have recommended more milk...but I think it is just perfect if you follow the recipe. Thanks so much for posting!

This is a dead-ringer for the M&C my Grandma used to make. Her's was dry too... That's the way she liked it though. I prefer things a bit more creamy but there was no denying the flavor. DW loved this. With a little adjustment this will work for me. It was very easy to execute. Needs more than 1tsp salt.

I halved this recipe and maybe that is why we thought this was a bit to dry for our liking. I will add more milk next time. Thanks for sharing!

Great recipe. I had Velveeta on hand and used that in place of the shredded cheese. So easy and hubby enjoyed it. Thanks RecipeZarr.

great when the cupboard is a little empty! I added shredded smoked ham which added a little more flavour and mixed the cheeses: a little mozzarella and pecorino with the cheddar. I'm Italian... it's what we do!

Really good and easy to make. Kids love it. NOTE: grate your own cheese. pre-grated is just not the same.

That's a lot of cheese for such a small amount of pasta! No wonder Reagan has Alzheimer's! I upped the pasta to a full pound and added a dash of paprika for flavor. Even with the mustard it was a little bland.
