As the mum of a toddler I use a LOT of pre-wash spray. This is a recipe I found on CD Kitchen on one of the days I had run out of store bought.
- 1⁄2 cup household ammonia
- 1⁄2 gallon water
- 2 tablespoons liquid soap
- 1⁄2 cup white vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup baking soda
- Put all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well.
- Spray all hard-to-clean areas of clothing before washing.
Sorry to say this did not work well for us. My DD sprayed it on my 7 week old grandson's bibs and it didnt take much of the formula stains out. I made another batch using 4 cups of water and full strength on everything else and it didnt make much of a difference. Will try again with my husbands work shirts and see if I can give a better rating.
