Based on the photo chef#344231 posted in the PAC thread I decided to make these for Easter rather than our usual cheesy potatoes. Was a big hit with the family and DH said these are his new favorite potatoes (which I was amazed ONLY because there is no cheese!) They were so flavorful that there is no need for cheese! My DB suggested for a cheese addition that won't change the recipe too much is using cheese flavored French fried onions (I think they are perfect as is though!) Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe!!!

DELICIOUS! My daughter's partner says "Is this a Recipe Zaar recipe?" and before I could fully say "yes", he says quite convincingly, "FIVE!!" - lol. These were really lovely potatoes. While not something you'd want to eat if you were on a diet; great for the occasional treat. Would be most excellent with a few slices bacon draped across the top (but before adding the French Fried onions - which we love, by the way). A winner! Made for Pick A Chef, Spring 2010. Thanks for another yummy recipe, Danny. Your daughter-in-law needs to sign up for Zaar, too!
