Outstanding!! It got the "Oh WOW mom!" seal of approval. I used some green onion, both while cooking the potatoes and on top. I also garnished it with garlic chives from my garden. The last tweak, was to use light half and half. I will make this again and again! Reviwed for ZWTIII

Soul food! So simple & good to eat. I used fat free 1/2 & 1/2 so my sauce didn't get exceptionally thick but that didn't bother the diners one whit. For herbs, I went snip happy in the garden - dill, parsely & chives. Excellent in its simplicity! Thanks for posting.
We loved these potatoes. I added less salt, using only 1 tsp. and sprinkled the potatoes with fresh parsley. I found that I could have added less half and half for the number of potatoes used. Thanks for sharing.
