Great potatoes! I made this as written but halved the amount of oil. The potatoes where tender with a slight crispness on the outside. Loved it; thanx!

Here's another 5 stars for this wonderful dish. I cooked mine at 350° for 1 hour because my main dish was cooking at that temperature. I turned them every 15 minutes just to keep them crisp allover. This is so yummy! I will be preparing this...like every other day. :) It's that good! Thanks for posting. Made for Spring PAC 2011

Roasted potatoes are one of my 'go-to' weekend recipes and this one did not disappoint. Since we like our golden brown on the outside I opted to raise the temp to 450 for the remaining 15 min and they were just great! I had one lonely sweet potato that I threw in too. Made for ZWT6.

As my house was getting so hot from the use of the oven, I microwaved these for about 5 minutes, then threw them in the toaster oven to brown a little. Excellent. I loved the rosemary. May add some garlic next time. Made for ZWT #6

This is a fantastic potato dish! We make this quite often and I usually use chunks of red onion about the same size as the potatoes and add 3 or 4 smashed garlic cloves as well. Since we like them crispy, I roast for about 30 more minutes, adding a dash more olive oil in the process. I also use fresh rosemary, when I have it. Try these, they are creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside! Yummm! Thanks for posting, Gayla.

These potatoes and onions are great! I used Walla Walla sweet onions and just gave them a quick chop. Otherwise, followed the recipe to a tee. I used red new potatoes. Easy and quick side to put together. Thanks Laffer! Made for the Vegan Recipe Swap October 2008.

These are delicious and full of flavor! I could still taste the onions, pepper and rosemary long after I ate them. They're easy to whip up, it's the baking that took time which gave me an opportunity to cook other stuff as well while waiting. I used the regular white onions as I couldn't find the white pearls and it didn't cross my mind that I shouldn't have peeled them. Oops! Anyway, I won't peel them next time. Thanks for sharing! Made for the Veggie Swap.

These were one of the best potato recipes I have tried....and so easy, I did cheat and buy a bag of the frozen onions and let them thaw out, they worked fine...

These are wonderful, did not have new potatoes so just cut up regular potatoes to size. Also added about three whole cloves of garlic that I just smashed with the side of my knife, left off the rosemary and added oregano. Thank you for the great recipe. I just love onions.

Delicious! I used only a sprinkle of salt and slightly less olive oil. Other herbs would work well here too, like fresh thyme. Thanks, Laffer!

easy, cheap and delicious. short list of ingredients; just a few steps and i didnt have to stand over a stove. i did add some garlic powder and had to sub a sweet onion as that was all i had. served with italian spicey sausage and the sweetness of the onion went well with it. i just put thesausage in with the rest. the ppotatoes and onions took on a slight carmelization which was great. very nice; will be made again...thanks!
