This warm sweet-sour salad cooks well in the oven.

  1. Preheat the oven to 325.
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet.
  3. Remove the bacon from the pan.
  4. Add the flour and whisk for 1 minute.
  5. Whisk in the sugar, vinegar and water.
  6. Simmer until thickened.
  7. Place the potatoes and onions to a medium casserole.
  8. Dice the cooked bacon and add to the casserole.
  9. Pour the sauce over the mixture and bake for 40 minutes.
  10. Serve warm with roast pork or sausages.
