    Ingredients:

    Directions:

      Saute leeks, onion, carrot and celery in butter in a stockpot or large saucepan.

      Add chicken broth, water, and potatoes and bring to boil.

      Simmer 15 minutes.
    4. 4
      Puree mixture in batches in blender, and return to pot.
    5. 5
      Add milk and wine and reheat.
    6. 6
      Add salt and pepper to taste.
    7. 7
      Serve topped with parsley.

      I loved this! Have made is a few times. Added asparagus to it this last time and it was fabulous too. Great served with warm beer bread.
