This is so good it is comfort food. The mashed potato and kale foundation would be good by itself or with many favorite meat dishes...besides the kielbasa I am sure it would be great with baked chicken, pork chops or even meatloaf. This will definately be a regular around here. Thanks for the recipe!<br/>Next time I will have to picture it before it's gone :)

This was very good and we enjoyed it. My husband wanted me to make something with Kielbasa and I had kale too, so I found this and made it. I used red potatoes (I had 'em) and it was verrrrry tasty. Multi-step but nothing too difficult. I doubled the recipe. Thanks for posting!

My husband made some kielbasa and I was looking for ways to use it. This dish was so good, I may make it again next week. I cooked the potatoes and steamed the kale in the microwave, with excellent results. I also didn't brown the kielbasa, but I probably would have if it was store bought. Those packaged meats can get a little slimy sometimes. And I used sharp white cheddar instead of swiss because that's what we had. Excellent recipe.

Like Yogachef, we got kale in our first CSA box this season. DH doesn't care for most greens, and I was hoping he'd like them okay in this dish. Okay was an understatement! He said to give it 5 stars and I have to agree. I doubled it to use all our kale and subsequently had to cook it for 30 minutes. I might try mixing all the broth with the potatoes next time as mine was still a little soupy on top, but a delicious recipe! Thanks for sharing!!

We tried this recipe last summer when we got kale in our CSA box. We really didn't know what to do with it. Wow, this is delicious! We now buy kale from the store or farmer's market! Thanks for posting!

I took the lazy man's route when making this. I didn't mash the potatoes, and I just layered all the ingredients with cheese in between each. I then melted the butter, mixed it with the broth and spices and poured it over the top. The family really loved it, and I thought it was pretty good. Will make this again! Thanks!

WOW! I can't BELIEVE how easy and DELISH this was!!!! If you are used to the traditional American "Tuna Casserole" type of Casserole with egg noodles, cream of ____ soup, etc.... You've GOT to try this! It's the same amount of effort (none) and it's sooooo much tastier. (And healthier - Kale is LOADED with anti-oxidents). Fantastic! Thank you for sharing this treasure!
