Questions & Replies

  1. If I freeze them, how do I reheat when ready to eat them?

  2. What does the butter do? I made this back in high school and I didn't drizzle butter and they were fine. Just curious!

  1. I couldn't believe it when I saw this recipe! My mother was making potato chip chicken back in the late 60's when we had company! She was using breasts on the bone then. She always used (and still does) plain chips. Adults and kids both love chicken prepared this way! This is a total winner!

  2. I have made potato chip chicken for years, we use melted butter to coat chicken then shake in mixture of crushed potato chips, parm cheese, a few shakes of garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, then bake. Everyone loves them.

  3. I'm trying this one in my air fryer. I plan on using hot & spicy chips.

  4. Thanks! We used crushed BBQ Ruffle chips. I had problems with crushing them. I used a rolling pin with the chips in a ziplock bag, I should have used a blender or food processor. I'll do that next time. Crunchy and very tasty! We will make this again.

  5. So much for healthy chicken, but these were great!!! I used Maui Onion chips and instead of butter used butter flavored spray in an attempt at making them a bit lower fat. Which I'm glad I did, because I gobbled the leftovers up as I was cleaning the kitchen! I'm sure the boys will be asking for these often. Thanks for an easy recipe for one of those I don't feel like cooking days.
