This is an awesome dish! We absolutely loved the addition of the cauliflower to the potatoes. It gave the potatoes a real boost and enhanced the flavors of the dish. I can't wait to make this for guests. Even those who think they don't like cauliflower are going to love this. Thanks so much for sharing, Irmgard.

Totally YUMMY! We love cauliflower, potatoes and garlic, so this was like a simple "all-in-one" side dish. Loved the garlcky flavor. The cream gave it such a smooth texture. The cauliflower taste is very subtle, so if you don't like cauliflower, you could trick yourself (or others) into eating it in this dish. I agree that this would be just as yummy with milk, or even a low-fat cheese. I'm gonna make this again and again....I think I'll try some Gouda cheese next time....Mmmmm. Thanx for a great recipe!

I live with my husband, four cats, and a sweet mutt named Jada in Scarborough, Ontario, where I work as an elementary school administrative assistant. I have a 31 year old daughter who lives with her boyfriend in nearby Don Mills, along with my sweet granddogs, Frankie and Turbo. I would have to say that my passion is animals, since I have so many of them!

If I had a month off work to do what I please, I would first catch up on my sleep and then just have fun - see a few movies and maybe take a couple of short trips - something that wouldn't break the bank - lol!
