Here's a nice, very tasty alternative to the usual burger, or even the usual veggie burger! I used some lemon pepper & garlic salt for seasoning a bit more, but other than than I followed your recipe! Very happy with the results, & I'll be making this again! Thanks for posting! This turned out well. I used all of the optional ingredients, I think it would have been even better without.

The burger itself was pretty good but I wouldnt call mayo and ketchup spicy. I used horsradish mayo for some extra "spice"

A tasty alternative to the bean-y type of veggie burger. I'd read the previous reviews and made sure to season the mixture well; I like spicy and I'm not afraid of the salt shaker, so I added hot paprika and garlic salt.
I'll make these again, especially with left over potatoes.

Wow powee Batman! This is a wonderful treat! I love a veggie burger anything, and this was a nice change from the usual burger. The potatoes and carrots molded nicely together held together delicately by the onion. I used Ener-G egg replacer, and added a bit of very, very, very, hot sauce. I had no trouble with this sticking together, I guess because of the addition onion. I loved the breadcrumb outside, and all of it. Anme, you have a different, delightful veggie burger going on here, and can be made vegan so easily just by replacing the mayo with vegan mayonnaise. I did however, add more hot sauce to the sauce, and made a "Big Mac" sorta of with the bread/lettuce/and sauce. Oh yummy, will make these again, and probably just start eating them regularly.
Thank you so much, we loved this!

This was really yummy, I followed the recipes as written but substituted the real egg to egg replacer and I used soy mayo. The burger patty was soft but I made mine huge so be careful turning them. I thought the burger had a lovely flavour and could be really addictive. I just boiled the carrots and potatoes but I could image the flavour would be more intense if they were roasted. The mayo maybe didn't live up to the name 'spiced' but it was a great combination. I chose to use the hamburger buns (the rest of the family was eating burger and since I don't eat red meat, I didn't want to be left out). The lettuces and provolone cheese is a perfect accompaniment to the burger because the patty had it's own flavour it would be ruin to use strong flavoured fillings. Thank you Anme for a great vegi burger.

I agree with the other reviewer that it needs more spice or something. It was ok but I would kick it up with some garlic, cayenne, salt, pepper, probably less flour, and I think I would add some zucchini to the mix. It is a good starting point but to make it again I would have to make quite a few changes.

This was more of a fried bisquit than a burger. It is mostly bread and flour. I couldn't possibly eat it on a bun... Carb overload! I would possibly add other veggies and leave out the flour? I don't know... maybe add beans to hold it together instead. It was also very bland by itself, it could use some garlic and onions perhaps. Happy cooking :)
