Loved this bread. It rose much quicker than usual so I let it go a bit too much. Will check it sooner next time. Loved it with jam for breakfast.

Fabulous! This is a pretty basic bread recipe that turned out awesome. The bread was fluffy and moist. We used margarine instead of shortening and it seemed to work just fine.
Excellent recipe! I have made potato breads with egg as an ingredient beforeb ut this recipe was much better. Very light and fluffy. I made 1 loaf and 16 rolls with this recipe. Thanks for sharing! Becki Hill email@example.com
