1. Very good sauce - I did add a few drops of sesame oil for extra flavor.

 2. this was good jude, but i did substitute rice vinegar for the red wine, i thought it would be a bit more asian, lol. i also added a tsp of sesame oil-- my potstickers were frozen and steamed, this was a neat appetizer for an asian meal

 3. A good sauce with a pungent ginger taste. I had planned to make potstickers; however, I was having 2-pounds stir-fried shrimp that night and used it to season the shrimp during the last minutes of cooking. It was just the right amount to lightly coat the shrimp, and DH thought it was wonderful, but a little strong on ginger. So I'll use a little less next time. I think this would certainly be good on potstickers.

 4. my girlfriend loves this sauce but always want me to double the recipe , if you pour it in a measuring cup you will find if you double the recipe you get 1/2 a cup so the original only yields 1/4 cup

 5. Oh my goodness! Yummmmm! I made this and added about 3/4 a teaspoon of Siracha to it because I like it a little bit spicy. Everytime we go to the restaurant PF Changs we get their spicy green beans and ask for extra of the sauce for them on the side and we pour it on the rest of our food. After adding the Siracha to it it tastes exactly like that and the ginger didn't seem as strong with a little kick to it. I've been making Asian food almost every day since finding this 4 days ago because I can't get enough of it. So far I've tried it with pot stickers, egg rolls, fried rice, spicy green beans and broccoli. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Oh, and grating the ginger with a zester grater makes it less strong if you get a piece rather than just mincing it.

Tweaks

 1. I love ginger, but one tablespoon overpowered the sauce. Next time I will only use one teaspoonful. I also substituted rice wine vinegar for the red wine vinegar, and added half of a sliced scallion.
