I am not a massive fan of mushrooms but enjoy a small tasting mushy. So instead of the large mushrooms I used button mushrooms and followed the receipe exactly with the exception of adding a small dollop of crushed garlic inside the mushroom before the cheese, my husband loved them and was disappointed that they were all gown. I enjoyed them too as they were small enough to eat in one mouthful and enjoy the combined flavours not just the mushroom flavour. Thanks will use again as low carb ideas, good ones are hard to come by!!!

Made with regular large (stuffing style) mushrooms and they were GREAT! Wonderful recipe!

I just thought that the following information may help some fellow Weight Watchers members: This is actually a Hungry Girl "approved" Recipe! HG's Super Bowl Recipe Find!!! (1 portabella: 90 calories, 5g fat, 330mg sodium, 6g carbs, 1.5g fiber, 2g sugars, 6g protein = 2 Points) HG Tip! Watching your fat count closely? Use nonstick spray in place of the oil in this recipe, and each serving will have just 60 calories, 1.5g fat, and 1 Point! Woohoo!

Not only low carb but low calorie. We loved them per this recipe. I had one left so we tried it with a small side of wheat pasta with sauce. Very tasty. Will prepare this again and again! Thank you.

Pretty good! I used fake bacon (had some vegetarian guests over) and everyone enjoyed. Thanks!

I thought these were great for being low carb! I added a little garlic and oregano to the oil before i brush it on the mushrooms but left everything else the same. Great idea for low carb dieters!
