A quick easy sauce for over grilled or pan cooked chicken breasts or tenderloins.
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 onion (diced)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1⁄2 cup cream
- 1⁄2 cup port wine
- 1 tablespoon parsley (finely chopped) (optional)
- In a small pan or saucepan heat butter over medium heat and saute the onion and garlic until tender.
- Stir in the cream and Port and heat gently.
- Pour over cooked chicken.
- Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley if desired.
