Belly-warmer on a frosty morn. This British breakfast dish is made special with the addition of bananas and raisins.
- In a saucepan, combine the oats, water, salt, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, and simmer until the liquid has been absorbed, stirring frequently.
- Pour into bowls, and top each with a pat of butter, bananas, raisins, and a splash of cold milk.

Classic oatmeal as I had it in England - the salt and butter taste is typical and I love it. Very good with the addition of the banana and raisins. I used almond milk for topping. Thanks for sharing :)
