  1. Add first 8 ingredients (soy sauce through red pepper) to the slow cooker crock and mix well. Add mushrooms, and scallions, stir gently to mix with the sauce.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Stir well before serving.

I love this recipe. This is the 2nd time I've made it. It's easy and quite delicious. I also have the cookbook it came from and this is one of the first meals I made. I love the slow cooker!
