  • Boil prunes in water 5 minutes.
  • Drain, remove pits.
  • Cut tenderloins lengthwise almost in half.
  • Sprinkle cut sides with salt and pepper.
  • Place half the prunes and apple down the center of each.
  • Tie up with skewers and string.
  • Roast in 325°F oven to internal temperature of 170° (1¼-1½ hours).
  • Remove pork to warm platter.
  • Add ¾ cup water to pan, stir to loosen browned bits.
  • Pour into 1 quart saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Add ¼ cup water mixed with flour to drippings, heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Boil, stir 1 minute.
  • Cut pork in slices.
  • Serve with gravy.
