Pork Scallopini With Garlic and Mushrooms

Recipe by Jinkster

Basic but tasty recipe

Top Review by Outta Here

This is an easy, basic recipe, and well written. We felt it was a bit bland, though. Perhaps replacing the water with more sherry, or subbing marsala, Calvados or brandy for the sherry would help. The sherry was not a strong enough flavor. A good recipe to experiment with though. Made for Fall 2011 PAC game.

Ingredients Nutrition

  2. Stir in sherry, water, onion, garlic, pepper, salt, herbs.
  3. Cover and cook slowly 30 minutes, adding a little water if needed.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook, covered 15 minutes longer.
  5. (This recipe can also be used with veal, but reduce cooking time significantly.).
