Made this when it was on recipezaar years ago, 2008, just found it while cleaning out all my recipes and I remember it being very good, going to make it again this week. I don't agree with caraway seeds, only use them if you like them, I hate them.

This is a 10 star. Taste is devine and so easy to put together. I did through in a can of potatoes. Just before it was done I put the ribs on another pan and let them brown. Really enjoyed this dish and will make it many times again. thanks, Farm Guy.

Oh my GOSH -- this is SO GOOD!!! I'm not even a huge fan of Sauerkraut, but the long cooking mellows the flavor, and it just tastes like really good seasoned cabbaged! Didn't have enough Sauerkraut last time I made it, so I subbed some shredded cabbage and mixed with the Kraut. The ribs come out so tender and tasty. And could it be any easier!?? Everyone in the family LOVED it -- even the kids. Thanks HF Guy!

Delicious - and SO simple to make. This dish has become a family favorite. Everyone who eats this wants the recipe!! A great recipe for those busy nights when you have no time to fuss in the kitchen - it cooks itself.

One Farm Guy to another: I use this recipe at least once a month. I love its' simplicity, and the result... However, I must recommend one ingredient: Any recipe using sauerkraut and pork needs a light sprinkling of caraway seed. About half a tablespoon of caraway, sprinkled on the sauerkraut before the pork is added, brings out the flavor of both ingredients and adds a subtle flavor of its' own, bringing it all together... Try it, and you'll like it...

Yum! This was good. I followed the recipe as written other then I cooked this on the grill at 375. I did add some pepper before cooking. I made with mashed potatoes. This was so good, there wasn't any left. This was also very easy to put together.

Thank you, Farm Guy, for this wonderful and simple dinner idea! We absolutely loved it. The kraut was tasty and mellow, the ribs tender and juicy...and serving it over mashed potatoes just pushed it right over the top! Yum!!
