I bought some lovely boneless chops and really had no idea what to do with them. This is a yummy solution to my dilema. I used a big fuji apple and threw in a large bag of baby carrots. Also left the celery rather big so we could fish it out (to cut down on sodium). Excellent recipie.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 6 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
  • 12 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 14 cup apple juice
  • 12 cup apple, chopped
  • 12 cup celery, sliced
  • 14 teaspoon thyme
  • hot cooked noodles


  1. In hot oil, brown pork chops and onion for about 10 minutes. Spoon off fat. Stir in soup, apple juice, apple, celery and thyme.
  2. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over noodles.
