My husband is an extremely picky eater, he told me this was a definate keeper and I must agree. The pork chops were moist and tasty and the rice was an excellent finish.

We thought this was a terrific pork chop casserole. Easy to make. The rice really soaked up the taco seasoning and had great flavor. I used about 1 cup of cheese on top. Thanks Kim D.

These pork chops are really good! My daughter made them for us (from the "Taste of Home" magazine a few years ago. They have become a staple pork chop recipe for us ever since. I dropped the green pepper from this recipe since my husband is not fond of it. Otherwise, I wouldn't touch a thing!

Great recipe! The only change I made was to add about half a cup of medium chunky salsa and I chopped up two small chili peppers to throw in! It was delicious! The rice tasted great and was just a bit spicy.. the way we like it! Thanks for sharing this great recipe Kim!

This is very good! I just got done eating and wanted to look at the recipe again. I got confused by the wording on the taco seasoning line, and I added the whole package of taco seasoning instead of a tablespoon. Needless to say it was pretty spicy!! Yet, still good! I will make this again now that I am clear, and probably add a can of mexi-corn. I thought the rice was a bit gummy, but it didn't bother me overall. Next time I will line the pan with foil and grease that, because it stuck to my pan even though I greased it. Thanks for posting!

This is a great dish. I made this last night using boneless pork chops and they stayed nice and juicy. We also liked the rice with this dish. I left the green peppers sliced on top of the chops and the whole thing was wonderful. We served this with spicy corn and bread and butter. thank you for sharing this withus.

I have made this several times and we just love it. The pork is fork tender and the rice is flavorful. I have used both white and brown rice in this sucessfully. I do find that the white rice is to mushy for me.

Good and super easy, made a wonderful weeknight meal. Pork chops stayed tender and the seasoning was perfect even for my picky kids. Only change I made was to use red bell pepper rings on top cause it's what I had on hand. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

I knew this would not be enough rice for my guys, so I changed the proportions. I used 6 nice thick boneless chops, 2 cups of rice, 2 cans tomato sauce, a quart of chicken broth and a whole envelope of taco seasoning. I called dinner, and it all disappeared like magic! Great recipe, and so easy!

Yum Yum Yum!!! This was so easy and so good. The rice cooked perfectly and the pork chops were very moist and tender. I used my own taco seasoning mix instead of the package mix and it came out great. Thanks for the recipe.

My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. I did add a can of diced tomatoes with green chilies. For the cheese I substituted pepper jack for the cheddar. This is a keeper!

I was hesitant to make this but based on the reviews I gave it a shot. We LOVED it! Absolutely fantastic! YUM! The only thing I changed was subbed chicken broth for the water. Next time I will add diced tomatoes to the rice. This will be on the rotation! Thanks Kim!

This is a recipe my entire family likes. I especially love the taste the green pepper adds. I may double the amount of it I use next time. As with all Mexican recipes, my daughter and I added a dollop (or two) of sour cream to our portion.

This was delicious! I have never made pork chops with a spanish flair and I was very pleased with the result. Instead of putting only peppers on top, I put some onions as well. I also took the advice of another review and put some chunky salsa on top. I then topped it with cheddar and monteray jack cheese. I only had instant white rice, and it was a little mushy, so I will try a different kind next time. I think I might marinate or spice up the meat prior to cooking a little with either more taco seasoning or maybe some chili powder. Overall, very tasty...we will be making this again. Thanks for the recipe.
