Pork Chops in Sour Cream Sauce

"I can't recall where I got this recipe but I've had it for years. These moist, tender and flavorful pork chops have a good barbequey flavor and are excellent with a baked potato and corn."

  • In a large skillet, brown the pork chops in the oil. Add 1/2 cup water, brown sugar, onion, catsup, garlic and beef bouillon. Cover and simmer for approximately 40 minutes or until meat thermometer reaches 160 degrees. Remove chops.
  • In a small bowl, combine flour with 1/4 cup water. Slowly add to cooking liquid, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened.
  • Stir in sour cream. Heat thoroughly but DO NOT boil.
  • Serve sauce over chops.
