Very nice. I didn't change a thing, served with mashed potatoes and a veggie. Easy, tasted great and the gravy on potatoes was delicious! Thanks.
These are the ultimate in comfort food. I followed the recipe EXACTLY and it is perfect as is. My family loved them and we will be having them often in the future. Thank you Tebo.
I used this as a base recipe -- I used red wine instead of beer, and chicken broth instead of beef broth. I didn't need the cornstarch to thicken the sauce, the flour worked fine. I was able to use 5 chops as well. I think part of the reason I did not need the cornstarch is I used slightly less liquid than the recipe called for. Very good, very easy and will prepare again.
This is delicious! And easy! I don't even like pork chops that much! I've made word for word to the recipe, but tonight I experimented because I had no beer. Modifications: I used one onion, and one green pepper. Instead of beer I used the tomato sauce from a can of diced tomatoes - then I added the tomatoes. The rest stayed the same. I was very proud of myself, it was amazing!
This was an instant favorite. I have made it several times. The advice about doubling the sauce is right on target. I love that there is a relatively low cal sauce I can make that is so tasty. I will try making it on its own for other meats. I buy beer just for this!
These were so delicious and made the yummiest gravy! This was served with German Potato Salad.
Really simple to make and the onion gravy was delicious.
Fantastic! When I lifted the lid on the onions simmering the aroma reminded me of beer battered onion rings. This dish was a big hit with the whole family. I maded exactly as directed. Served with brown rice and sugar snap peas.
So easy and good. The kids tasted the gravy and felt the beer taste was too strong, so I added a can of beef broth and everyone loved it! So tender and such good gravy for mashed potatoes.
My husband made this for us last night and I thought it was pretty darn good. Will definately make again. Only thing different he did was cooked the chops and let people put their own gravy on.
