Pork Chops in Corn Flake Crumbs

"This is an exceptionally easy recipe which is tastes great. You can buy a box of Kellogg's Seasoned Cornflake Crumbs so you don't have to crush them. The box will last a long time. It's usually by the stovetop stuffing or bread. The amount of margarine is approximate - you may need to melt a little more so I would make sure that you have about 1 1/2 sticks on hand just to be on the safe side. If using a tub of margarine 6 tablespoons is a little more than 1/3 cup."

  1. I have a recipe just like this but for chicken and it has the dry ranch dip mix mixed in with the corn flakes. I tried it on the pork chops and it was great. Just add the dried mix to the corn flakes don't make the mix just keep it dry it's awesome!

  2. My husband loves his pork chops made this way. This is the only way he will eat them now. I will have to try the chicken tenders suggested by OhioGuy76.

  3. I use a similar method, skipping the butter, but adding creole seasoning and dried onion flakes to the crushed corn flakes. Works great on chicken tenders too!

  4. It just doesn't get any easier than this. I doubled the recipe for my family of 4. I added some dried minced onions to the crushed cornflake and some garlic powder to the melted butter (for my family's taste). Everyone cleaned their plates.. including the kids!. Thanks for a real family pleaser and a sure keeper!.

I created a cookbook program in Access as a wedding gift for my nephew. I found an artist to hand paint a recipe box for my nephew and I printed out 170 recipes on photo cards and created indexes for the recipe categories. I had so much fun creating the database and they really loved it. I became a little obsessed in looking for and trying new recipes.
