    This recipe has been in my family for a really long time....you have your meat and potatoes all in one dish, just add a salad and dinner is ready.

    Ingredients:

    Servings:

    • 6 pork chops
    • 4 medium potatoes
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 1 can cream of chicken soup
    • salt and pepper

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Salt and pepper pork chops and brown in skillet with small amount of shortening or vegetable oil.
    2. 2
      Place slices potatoes in 1 and 1/2 quart baking dish.
    3. 3
      Alternate layers of pork chops,onion,and potatoes.
    4. 4
      Pour soup over top.
    5. 5
      Cover with lid.
    6. 6
      Bake at 350 degrees for 1 and 1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender.

      This was awesome my husband does not like onions so instead I added one can of drained mushrooms and added a extra can of mushroom soup for more creamier sauce it came out good my husband really liked it. Thanks

      I have made this dish for years but do only one thing different,I add a can of golden mushroom soup.It is really good and easy.Tastes like you spent a long time in the kitchen but you don't.We like it with garlic bread and iced tea.Thanks
