This is one of my family's favorite meals. And is requested often by my kids. I grill the chicken breasts which helps make it easy and fewer pans to wash. I use cr of chicken soup. And add grated cheddar chz to the mix. The recipe I have always used calls for 1T of poppyseeds mixed in with the cracker crumbs. I serve this over brown rice. So yummy! Thanks for posting this. Now I'll always have it in my collection!

I've been making this for years and my boys and hubby love it! I usually add one can of chopped green chilies to the soup/cream mixture before adding the chicken. It adds flavor and moisture. I usually use at least 6 chicken breast filets, too. I don't have luck crushing the crackers in the sleeve - just use a plastic zipper bag.

I have made this for years, having gotten the recipe from a friend. It's delicious. I break each Ritz into quarters, and then mix with one teaspoon of Poppyseeds and butter. I layer chicken, soup/sour cream, cracker mixture, and repeat once more. My family loves this. Thanks for posting.

This recipe meets the requirements to consider when cooking for a crowd/group luncheon or dinner...not easily messed up. I used the Healthy Request cream of chicken soup, also, fat free sour cream, and Reduced Fat Ritz crackers, but confess to using a stick of melted butter drizzled on top. OK, next time diet margarine! We loved it.

I absolutely love this dish. I use one large can of cream of chicken soup and 16 ounces of sour cream. The combination makes it really creamy. This is the best food in the world to reheat and eat, also....

I love this recipe because even I can't mess it up, and believe me that's saying something. Its not terribly expensive, goes a long way towards feeding a bunch of people and is good warm food for those cold winter days. This is one of my favorites.
