  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 12 teaspoons salt
  • 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 12 cups sugar
  • 1 12 cups milk
  • 1 18 cups salad oil (can use crisco oil)
  • 1 12 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 12 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 12 teaspoons almond extract
  • Glaze

  • 34 cup white sugar
  • 14 cup prepared orange juice
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 teaspoons melted oleo

  • Mix above all together and beat 2 minutes.
  • Pour into greased and floured pans (2 pans 2x3 1/2 x 2 1/4) Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and add glaze.
  • Glaze Heat till sugar is dissolved. Pour over hot bread while still in pans; cool, remove and wrap in foil.
  • Freeze or refrigerate.
