ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 1 1⁄2 cups milk
- 1 1⁄8 cups salad oil (can use crisco oil)
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 3 eggs
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons almond extract

Glaze
- 3⁄4 cup white sugar
- 1⁄4 cup prepared orange juice
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 teaspoons melted oleo
directions
- Mix above all together and beat 2 minutes.
- Pour into greased and floured pans (2 pans 2x3 1/2 x 2 1/4) Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and add glaze.
- Glaze Heat till sugar is dissolved. Pour over hot bread while still in pans; cool, remove and wrap in foil.
- Freeze or refrigerate.
