      I love this bread, it's so delicious! My photo makes it look almost "wet" inside but it's really not. Just very moist along with the fact that I HAD to cut into it 15 minutes out of the oven. Now I have to go hide the rest of it from myself so I don't eat 1/2 a loaf in one sitting! Thanks for sharing the recipe Nemokitty, made for Pick-A-Chef Fall 2011.

      This is a fabulously moist poppy seed bread. I did easily halve this recipe for only one loaf and it baked up perfectly. It had a nice crown on the bread but not too high which was nice. Just absolutely perfect. We so enjoyed every bite (and quickly I might add!). Thanks for sharing this in the Newest Zaar Tag Game. :)

      Made this recipe as given (Well, actually I used a nicely rounded measure of the poppy seeds!) & the loaves turned out just great! I kept one for the 2 of us & gifted the other to a couple of very appreciative friends! Absolutely wonderful in every respect, & this is yet another very nice recipe for me to keep around!       this is a very nice bread rises well . i made one loaf no problem . i did add a little lemon juice to my milk to help the baking soda , its just something i do with all recipes with baking soda it was fast to make and has a pretty crumb
