Michelle, my kids loved this. I did make a few slight additions. I used 1 t. minced garlic, 1 t. dried oregano, and added salt and pepper to the meat mixture. I think next time I will do as you suggested and add pepperoni and mushrooms. This made a great weeknight easy to make meal Thanks.

This was pretty good. I needed something quick and easy for company that was coming over for dinner and they dont like any type of meat besides ground beef. So this is what I made, and the loved it. My son kept calling it Cheeza, and wanted 3rds!!! Thanks for a good quick meal!

I made this last night for my kids and they all went nuts. They ate every last bit of it!!! I guess that would mean that they liked it. My dd#1 wants it on a weekly basis. This was a real winner in my house...Thanks Michelle!!!!

Easy to make but my crust turned out strange....bubbled up really high in some places, stayed undercooked in others. Could have been my oven. We all liked the taste, though!

Very tasty and simple to put together. I used whole wheat flour which probably gave it a different taste than the original, but all in all, my family devoured this. I added the mushrooms and pepperoni, and used provolone versus the mozzarella. Way to go, Michelle!

YUMMMMMMMY! What a great quick and easy dish. Instead of ground beef I used spicy turkey sausage. I will omit the pepper next time, a little too over powering. I separately sauteed the onion with some chopped mushrooms and then added that combo to the meat mixture. I also mixed in some turkey pepperoni, as well. Absolutley fantastic and the little bit of leftovers that made it to the next day were even better!

This was pretty good! I used reduced fat italian sausage instead of the hamburger. My DH and I both agreed that it was too salty. I think next time I will skip the salt in the batter, and look for a low sodium pizza sauce.

Not quite up my family's alley, I guess. Was easy to make though.

Really good. My teenagers particularly enjoyed this. I used Italian sausage instead of beef and added a little pepperoni I had. The topping is excellent.

The family loved this! Very easy for a weeknight meal. Scaled the recipe down to use one pound of ground beef and baked in an 11x7 pan. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

My family loved this. It's so simple to put together. I used 3/4 lb hamburger and 3/4 lb Italian sausage putting pepperoni on top of the batter, then sprinkled with parmesan. Next time I will add mushrooms, green peppers. Makes a very tasty meal. A definate crowd pleaser. Thanks for a terrific reciepe!

This was very good. My crust didn't "pop up" like I thought it would, but was still tasty. I halved the recipe and baked it in a square dish. My usually 2 picky kids each ate one serving and said it was "OK", but I (the chef) thought it was better, especially knowing how easy it was to put together.

I am rating this on behalf of my family because I'm on the SBD so couldn't have any. They loved it and I know it will be asked for several times. Great easy recipe. Thanks Michelle. ML

this was just so good my son and his friend just inhaled it. the only reason i gave it a 4 is because i added some garlic powder to the meat mix,i always add garlic powder to every hamburger dish. i used a small 14 ounce jar of spaghetti sauce as another poster did, and it was the just the right amount.i didn't know if i should have used self-rising flour or plain,so i used the self -rising and it worked just fine.this will be a repeat at my home.thank you so much.

DE-LOOX and DELIGHTFUL! This was a huge success in our household. I did make a couple of changes/additions though. I used 2 8 oz. cans of pizza sauce in place of the spaghetti sauce,(Pasdorelli's sauce - my fave) and added mushrooms, additional oregano, basil and fennel. The El Gordo ate 5 pieces! He also suggested that the meat filling would make a great Sloppy Joe-type filling for the summer when we don't want to run the oven. Thanks for this keeper.
