  • In a pot, simmer the cranberry juice with the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and the lemon and orange peels for 15 minutes.
  • Let it cool completely.
  • Strain and discard the cloves and fruit peels.
  • Pour into glasses with ice and serve.

  1. Never done this with Cranberry juice lol. I grew up in Chile. We use to make this with red wine and when the wine got hot light it on fire and burn off the alcohol then add the other ingredients minus the clove.
     
  2. This is very flavorful. It reminds me of a cold wintertime drink. I followed the ingredients per recipe but I only had ground cloves so that is what I used. Made for ZWT4 for the Cookin Cats.
     
  3. Very nice change from just regular cranberry juice.......even though I would not be able to drink it I am sure this would be good with vodka, rum, and maybe even tequila in it. I will make this for the July 4th party with bottles of adult beverages to add in. Thank you for a great recipe. Made for ZWT4 by a CHIC CHEF.
